This scene to me was a little bumpy but as I started to read the letters Alice was sending to Henry made sense and how she was concerned. The quote I chose for it is "Then we'll appeal again. we'll take it to the Supreme Court. Hell we'll take it all the way to President Roosevelt!"page 83. Alice says this to Henry as she visits him, this quote just shows her over all courage and how she cares for him by trying to fight to the end for him to get him out. Its important because it shows how much there friendship has grown and how the trial is going to end. Alice just gets emotional over this whole appeal situation but trying to let Henry's emotions take over her as he's desperate for love.
I dont get why Henry is all of a sudden having feelings for her then talks about her, is he confused?
