This scene was very brief and had alot going on at the same time with the boys getting out of jail and the war ending.The family greeting one another as they all come together to celebrate the "Freedom".page 87. I choose this because theres so much excitement going on that reality has not really set in.
Why do you think the narrarator freed them on this day out of all days?
